HeatXR

In short: HeatXR collects no personal data. The app has no account, no analytics, no ads and no internet access. Everything it stores stays on your headset, and uninstalling the app deletes it.

This policy covers the HeatXR app for Meta Quest and this website. It explains what the app stores, where, and how to delete it.

What the app stores, and where

HeatXR keeps the following only on your headset, in the app's private storage:

  • your settings (for example workout length, intensity, coach and scene);
  • your workout history and results (time, estimated calories, accuracy, hits and streaks) and the workouts you choose to save;
  • your music library: the folders you added, the list of songs in them, and your favourites and picks.

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else.

Your music

HeatXR reads songs only from the folders you choose with your headset's own folder picker. Your songs stay where they are: the app does not copy, upload or share them, and it can't see any other folder.

Controllers, hand tracking and movement

To run the workout, the app uses the position of your headset, controllers and, if you use them, your tracked hands, as provided by the headset. This data is used live, on the headset, to judge punches and dodges. It is not recorded beyond the workout results listed above and never leaves the headset.

No internet, no tracking

The app does not request internet access. It has no user account, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting of its own and no third-party tracking code. We cannot see who uses HeatXR or how.

Meta

HeatXR is sold through Meta's store. Your purchase, your Meta account and any data your headset's operating system collects are handled by Meta under Meta's own privacy policy, not by us. We do not receive personal data about you from Meta beyond the aggregated sales and usage reports Meta provides to all developers.

This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts and loads nothing from other sites. Like every web server, its hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.

Deleting your data

Because everything stays on your headset, you are in full control:

  • Uninstall HeatXR to delete all of its data, or
  • clear the app's storage in your headset's settings (Settings › Apps) to reset it.

We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing to delete on our side. Your music files are never touched by either step.

Children

HeatXR collects no personal data from anyone, including children. Use of the headset is subject to Meta's age requirements.

Changes

If a future version of HeatXR changes what it stores or sends, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
